🛡️ AegisGear: The Start of Something Strong
Week 1 – The Journey Begins
Hey everyone, Dan here đź‘‹
I wanted to take a moment to welcome you to AegisGear — a project that’s been quietly taking shape over the last few months, and one I’m finally ready to share.
AegisGear started from a simple frustration I think a lot of us in the tabletop community have felt…
You spend hours painting, building, and perfecting your models — then when it’s time to pack them up for a game or tournament, you’re left with plastic tubs, foam trays, or expensive branded boxes that don’t always feel right.
I kept thinking: there has to be a better way to carry and protect these models we put so much work into.
That’s when the idea for AegisGear was born — a brand built around premium-quality protection, modern design, and fair pricing.
⚙️ What’s Happening This Week
Right now, I’m in the middle of finalizing product samples and testing everything from the foam layout to the locking mechanisms and handle feel.
Every detail matters because I want these cases to not only look great but also stand up to the rigours of real use.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing:
-
Behind-the-scenes looks at how we will be testing products from around the world
-
Early prototypes and photography
-
Sneak peeks of the AegisGear launch lineup
đź’¬ Get Involved
AegisGear is being built with the community in mind — I’d love your feedback, ideas, and even your setup pics.
What do you look for in a model transport case?
What frustrates you most about the current options?

⚡ The Mission
At the heart of AegisGear is one simple promise:
To help you carry your models with confidence.
Whether you’re heading to a local game night or a national tournament, you should feel proud to show up with gear that looks as good as the models inside it.
Thanks for being here from day one — this is just the beginning.
Stay tuned for the next update, where I’ll reveal the first production-ready prototype 👀
See you soon,
Dan
